Waxploitation Records released its Genocide in Sudan CD which includes songs donated by artists including David Sylvian, System of a Down, Jill Scott, Gorillaz, Yoko Ono and Jurassic 5 amongst many others.
Not really a release but it is the programme of Harold Budd’s farewell tour concert in Brighton.
This CD came free with The Wire magazine June 2005 (UK).

Music by Christian Fennesz and David Sylvian is used as the soundtrack of the Austrian movie Shirley – Visions Of Reality.
David Sylvian attended the sessions for this recording and in the liner notes is credited with radically impacting Toshimaru’s set up in the studio. Beautiful letterpress cover. Limited edition CD of 300. Recordings from these sessions were used by David Sylvian for his collaboration with Mark Wastell and Rhodri Davies, ‘There is No Love’.
David Sylvian provided liner notes for this cd which features Sidsel Endresen (who appears on ‘Uncommon Deities’) and Clive Bell (who appears on ‘When Loud Weather Buffeted Naoshima’). The cd accompanied Sylvian on a solo road-trip across the USA in 2014. Available on cd and 140g vinyl edition which includes 11 x 11″ art insert and print.
