A new live cd has been released of Japan’s performance at the Budokan, Tokyo as part of their final tour in 1982. For this show on 8 December 1982, Ryuichi Sakamoto & Yukihiro Takahashi from YMO and Akiko Yano joined Japan on stage for encores. The show contains the only live performance of Sylvian’s first single with Ryuichi Sakamoto, ‘Bamboo
“The Shining of Things. Dedicated to David Sylvian” is the new recording project signed by vocalist Serena Spedicato and pianist Nicola Andrioli. 8 tracks from David Sylvian are being performed. Last year released as a CD and now in April 2020 also released on limited edition vinyl (300 copies)!

David Sylvian provided liner notes for this cd which features Sidsel Endresen (who appears on ‘Uncommon Deities’) and Clive Bell (who appears on ‘When Loud Weather Buffeted Naoshima’). The cd accompanied Sylvian on a solo road-trip across the USA in 2014. Available on cd and 140g vinyl edition which includes 11 x 11″ art insert and print.
