At the Setouchi Triennale 2013, Sylvian participated in the ‘photos of the city project’ at the Uno Port area of Okayama prefecture. His photos were exhibited from July 20th to September 1st.. He was also present the sound installation supervised by himself based on a song by sound artist Taylor Deupree.
Another photo exhibit and art project by musician David Sylvian called Abandon/Hope was held at the Spiral Garden in Aoyama, Tokyo.
Christian Fennesz and David Sylvian first collaborated on albums such as ÂBlemishÂ, ÂVeniceÂ, and ÂManafonÂ, and following the recent collaboration between Stephan Mathieu and Sylvian on ÂWandermüdeÂ, comes a new project, The Kilowatt Hour, a trio formed by Mathieu, Sylvian and Fennesz.
