Lyrics
There's a certain slant of light,
On winter afternoons
That opresses, like the heft
Of Cathedral Tunes

Heavenly hurt it gives us;
We can find no scar,
But internal difference
Where the meanings are

None may teach it, anything,
'T is the seal, despair,
An imperial affliction
Sent us of the air.

When it comes, the landscape listens,
Shadows hold their breath;
When it goes, 't is like the distance
On the look of death.

Remix of David’s track by Johan Troch

Note by Johan Troch on Soundcloud:

Music by Johan Troch / Vocals by David Sylvian
Something that I wanted to do for a long time now, is to collaborate with David Sylvian.
Almost by accident, I’ve discovered that the vocals on David’s track A Certain Slant Of Light from the album Died In The Wool fits almost perfectly to a recent new track of mine.
For me this was a challenge and opportunity to isolate the vocals and mix them into that track.
Of course, this is not for commercial purposes, so you can download this track for free.
I tried to contact David, or his management via Samadhisound but never received any reply on this.
