Since their first collaborative album "Secret Rhythms" came out on Nonplace in 2002, Friedman & Liebezeit have been playing live all over the world, improving cyclic grooves and creating new ones. Paradoxically, their rhythms are difficult to grasp but easy to listen to. The 3 exclusive tracks for this vinyl only mini LP casually manoeuvre round the jagged rocks of "four-four time".

Blonde Redhead have been the main support act on Interpol's US tour, which kicked off on 7th February in Cincinatti. To celebrate, 4AD has released a US-only EP which gathers together all the b-sides from the band's two 2004 UK singles ("Elephant Woman" and "Equus") into one handy package.

A NEW NONPLACE RELEASE IS DUE MAY 2005

Since their first collaborative album "Secret Rhythms" came out on Nonplace in 2002, Friedman & Liebezeit have been playing live all over the world, improving their notoriously uncommon grooves and elaborating odd ones. On this vinyl mini LP Burnt Friedman and Jaki Liebezeit still casually manoeuvre round the jagged rocks of "four-four time".

Hector Zazou has completed mixing and assemblage of the new job for Materiali Sonori: "Quadri + Chromies", a dvd and a cd realized with computer graphic images by French painter Bernard Caillaud. Video pictures and electronic music of great "deepness". Guests in audio traces : Brian Eno, David Sylvian and Bill Rieflin (REM). release: september 2005

Here is the HTML-ised version of the official ‘the good son vs. the only daughter’ (the ‘blemish’ remixes) album press release. This album will be available for pre-orders from the 31st January 2005 from Samadhisound.com, and on general release thereafter.
The Blemish album has been remixed by various artists including Ryoji Ikeda, Burnt Friedman, Readymade and other electronic stars. It will be released by P-Vine in Japan and by Samadhi Sound elsewhere.
