Lyrics

The beat of his wings on the moon never tire
As black crow descends stealing somebody else's fire
Suffering is no cause for pity
As black crow hits shoe shine city
God's burned his wings
Struck dumb for his crimes
A black crow descends on shoe shine city

This is one of my favourite tracks off Rain Tree Crow. When I first heard this song I thought it represented a more rock-oriented sound that I thought it would be interesting to hear David explore further. My wishes were subsequently fulfilled by the heavy rock of The First Day.
